2 – 3:15 p.m.  Cybersecurity threats: Practical considerations for understanding, preventing and mitigating risk, and responding to a cybersecurity crisis
This panel discussion will address best practices for insuring against and responding to cybersecurity threats. The panel will include a forensic expert and cyber insurance professional to discuss common causes of data breaches, steps to prevent your company from becoming a victim, and how to identify and select the best insurance coverage to protect your company.

This presentation will highlight certain market changes to terms of credit agreements including London Interbank Offered Rates (LIBOR) floors and increasingly broader representations and covenants regarding the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), USA Patriot Act and other U.S. regulatory requirements.

3:45 – 4:15 p.m.  OFAC or fiction: From Cuban cigars and Persian rugs to acquisition and credit agreements
This presentation will address OFAC and how it applies to your company, including OFAC’s application to customers, credit agreements, insurance policies and merger/acquisition agreements. Additionally, it will highlight OFAC enforcement trends and pitfalls, and discuss best practices and strategies for OFAC compliance.

4:15 – 5 p.m.  2016 Labor and employment developments: A year-end recap
This presentation will highlight workplace issues that were front and center during 2016 and provide insight into how they will impact employers, and inside counsel in particular, in 2017. From federal developments including new overtime regulations, EEO-reporting requirements, and the Department of Labor’s expansive view of who is an “employer” and “employee”; to state-specific developments throughout the United States, including two states adopting a $15 minimum wage, new paid leave entitlements and restrictions on background screenings. Finally, we will summarize recent employment-related cases in Wisconsin, including the Lanning decision, invalidating an employee non-solicitation provision that may look strikingly similar to a provision you may find in your company’s employment agreements.
