Adam Spector is an attorney in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm’s Milwaukee office where he advises clients on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private placements, joint ventures, strategic commercial relationships and other financing matters. Adam’s practice also includes advising clients with respect to technology and software, including drafting and negotiating software license, development and services agreements, software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreements, cloud computing agreements and other end-user license agreements.
Before law school, Adam worked at Deutsche Bank in its Asset and Wealth Management group where he served a sophisticated client base comprising principals of private equity firms, hedge funds and family offices. This experience provided him with a solid understanding of business and financing issues from an operational and business perspective. Integrated with Adam’s legal knowledge and expertise, Adam’s Deutsche Bank experience provides him with the ability to assess and understand his clients’ needs from a holistic point of view – developing custom solutions at the intersection of business and law.
Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Adam was an associate in the Financial Services Group at Katten in Chicago and the Corporate Group at a large Milwaukee firm. During law school, Adam served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Arlander Keys of the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
