Liz Chandler is an associate in the Securities Practice Group, where she specializes in representation of public companies in securities transactions, public offerings, private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities law compliance matters. She also has experience relating to venture capital financings and start-up companies.

Liz earned her J.D. with honors from the University of Washington School of Law in 2003, where she was selected for Order of the Coif. During law school, Liz served as an intern for Chief John C. Coughenour of the Western District of Washington. She served as thesis editor, contributing writer, and editorial board member of the Washington Law Review. Liz graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Political Science, where she was selected to membership in the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.

Prior to joining Godfrey and Kahn, Liz worked in the Washington and California offices of two large Silicon Valley- based law firms, where her practice focused on the representation of technology and emerging growth companies and venture capital firms.
