Andrew S. Oettinger is a member of the Litigation Practice Group and is located in our Milwaukee Office.
Andrew has litigated in federal and state court, before Wisconsin Administrative Law Judges, and has appeared before the American Arbitration Association, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and other alternative dispute resolution organizations.
Andrew represents borrowers and lenders in foreclosure actions throughout Wisconsin, assists in work-outs, and advises clients on pre- and post-foreclosure strategies for underperforming commercial properties.
Andrew has developed expertise in the emerging field of electronically-stored information, forensic retrieval of electronic evidence, e-discovery, and the use and impact electronic information in the litigation process. Andrew has represented clients with an online presence, asserting and defending claims based on online terms and conditions, and e-commerce transactions and advertising.
Andrew’s recent work includes: asserting and defending claims involving the fabrication and launch of an alternative energy facility, advancing trade secret theft and breach of non-compete agreement claims on behalf of corporate client, defending alleged false advertising claims under the Lanham Act, and the defense of multimillion dollar fraud claim advanced on apparent authority theories.
Andrew graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, Wisconsin. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Prior to law school, Andrew held office as a County Supervisor on the Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
