June 14, 2016|Milwaukee, WI|12:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Key Environmental Issues in Region 5 of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is a one-day CLE conference sponsored by the ABA’s Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources, offering a unique opportunity to engage in dialogue with senior Region 5 officials, key state environmental officials, and influential private attorneys in the Great Lakes Region. The conference will focus on priorities and initiatives in the Region 5 states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin, and will include timely programs on state perspectives on EPA’s Clean Power Plan, the evolution of EPA enforcement, nutrient regulation and other key water quality developments, the latest developments in waste and remediation law, and statutory and regulatory issues affecting renewable energy projects. Conveniently located at The Gwen in the heart of downtown Chicago, this conference affords the rare opportunity to network with academics, government lawyers, in-house counsel, nonprofit lawyers, and private practitioners and share views on challenging topics in a non-adversarial, educational setting.

Program Planning Co-chairs:

  • Arthur J. Harrington, Godfrey & Kahn SC, Milwaukee, WI
  • Gary E. Steinbauer, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5, Chicago, IL
