In June, Godfrey & Kahn hosted a volunteer workday in Dane County on a section of the Ice Age Trail in Verona, Wisconsin. Fourteen attorneys and staff members from the Madison and Milwaukee offices spent a rainy afternoon clearing overgrown honeysuckle and other invasive plants from the trail. The Ice Age Trail Alliance is a nonprofit member- and volunteer-based organization whose mission is to create, support and protect a one thousand-mile footpath (the Ice Age National Scenic Trail) which traces Ice Age formations across Wisconsin.
