Godfrey & Kahn Attorney Jon Anderson Named to the Education Law Association Board of DirectorsDecember 02, 2010
MILWAUKEE (Dec. 2, 2010) − The Education Law Association (ELA) has named Godfrey & Kahn attorney Jon Anderson to its board of directors effective immediately.
The ELA is a national non-profit association offering unbiased information about current legal issues affecting education and the rights of those involved in education, in both public and private K-12 schools, universities, and colleges. Members of the ELA represent three distinct constituent groups: attorneys, professors and school administrators.
Through this unique collaboration, the ELA creates a unique and practical source of information for those in the fields of education and law. It strives to promote interest in and understanding of the legal framework of education and the rights of students, parents, school boards and school employees in primary and higher education institutions. The ELA was established in 1954 as NOLPE, the National Organization on Legal Problems of Education.
