MILWAUKEE (Nov. 26, 2013) – Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is proud to announce that attorney Sherry D. Coley has been elected chairperson of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Board of Governors. She is one of the youngest to ever receive this honor.
The State Bar of Wisconsin’s Board of Governors manages and directs the affairs and activities of the State Bar of Wisconsin. The term of office is one year.
Coley is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in the Green Bay office. She maintains an active litigation practice dedicated to the representation of business/employer interests in a variety of employment and commercial disputes, including significant work in financial services litigation, real estate foreclosures, and work-outs. Coley is also a member of the firm's Product Liability and Tort Practice Group. She defends manufacturers in product liability actions involving personal injury, wrongful death and property damage.
Coley received her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude and with honors, from Drake University and earned her J.D. from Marquette University Law School.
