Amber Coisman is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on complex business disputes, including contract disputes, product liability, commercial torts, employment, real estate and insurance coverage. Amber’s litigation experience includes work in state and federal courts throughout the United States as well as mediation and arbitration.
Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Amber was a partner at a firm in Chicago where her practice focused on insurance coverage disputes.
Amber is licensed to practice in Wisconsin, Illinois and Massachusetts. Amber is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the Northern District of Illinois, the Central District of Illinois, the Southern District of Illinois and the Eastern District of Michigan.
Amber graduated from Boston University School of Law. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a certificate in Business.
Amber is a former Board Member for the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law and a former member of the Advocacy Council for Women Employed. Amber also speaks Spanish.
