Shirley Huntemann has been a paralegal for 20 years and has worked at Godfrey & Kahn since 1997. Shirley currently works in the firm’s Public Finance Practice Group.
Shirley regularly works with public finance, local government and school districts on numerous long-term general obligation and revenue bond issues by Wisconsin counties, municipalities, school districts and special districts, State of Wisconsin’s Clean Water Fund Programs; school districts’ bond referendum, short-term cash flow borrowings and defeasance matters; obtain State Equalized Value Certificates and yearly reports; Public Financing invoicing; Closing Transcripts; and IRS 8038 quarterly filings.
Shirley also assisted with the firm’s Corporate Practice Group with corporate/banking registrations of domestic/foreign entities, including acquisitions, mergers and ownership succession; Common/Preferred stock transactions and ownership calculations; preparation and maintenance of corporate records; State annual report filings; Uniform Commercial Code Statement filings and searches; Apostilles; and Closing Transcripts.
