Matthew Ludden is an associate in the Corporate and Health Care Practice Groups in the firm’s Madison office. Matt focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
During his time in law school, Matt was an Associate Editor for the Marquette Law Review and Editor for the Marquette Sports Law Review. He has received multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards as well as the 2013 Marquette Sports Law Review Comment Competition Award for Most Outstanding Comment.
On his way to earning his certificate in Sports Law from the National Sports Law Institute, Matt served as a legal intern for the Milwaukee Bucks, Inc. Matt was also involved at the Milwaukee County Courthouse, where he was a judicial intern for Judge Paul Van Grunsven in the civil division and a mediator with the Marquette Mediation Clinic where he mediated cases in the small claims division. He also volunteered his time at the Marquette Volunteer Clinic where he assisted local volunteer attorneys with giving free legal advice to the underserved in the community.
Matt believes in preventative rather than curative law. Because of this, Matt believes that open communication with the client is a necessity along every step of the legal matter.
