Robert Mueller serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he guides the firm’s professional staff and business functions, having overall responsibility for finance, human resources, information technology, library services and records, marketing, recruiting and trust services. He is a member of the firm’s management, retirement plan and compensation committees, and participates in firm strategic planning, capital investment, and growth and development efforts.
Robert is active in the Milwaukee community, having held various leadership roles in several faith-based organizations, including chairing a foundation board, serving on another organization’s finance committee, and as an adult leader of several youth Appalachia service missions. Weather permitting, he enjoys riding his bicycle 14 miles to and from work, several times a week.
Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Robert served as a Director for another Milwaukee-area law firm, where he managed trust administration and family office functions. He has also held consulting and business development positions for several organizations in the financial services and wealth management industries.
