MILWAUKEE (Feb. 14, 2020) - Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is excited to announce the addition of attorney Sara Flaherty in its Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. She will assist clients in implementing data privacy and cybersecurity programs compliant with emerging state, federal and international legal regulations like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the European Union’s General Data Privacy Regulations (GDPR).
Flaherty graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2019. Prior to law school, she spent more than 13 years working as a contract management professional in the legal departments of two multi-billion dollar Midwest-based companies.
“Sara worked at Godfrey & Kahn as a summer associate in 2019 and did a tremendous job supporting our practice,” said Andrew Schlidt, co-chair of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Group. “We’re excited to bring her on board as a full-time associate as we continue to grow the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Group. Her prior industry experience working with in-house legal departments will be of great value in supporting our clients.”
