Justin Webb earns prestigious Certified Information Privacy Professional credential

MILWAUKEE, WI (Apr. 24, 2018) ─ Godfrey & Kahn is pleased to announce that Justin Webb, an attorney in the firm’s Data Privacy & Cybersecurity and Technology & Digital Business Practice Groups, has become a Certified Information Privacy Professional/US through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). This certification further positions Webb as a national leader in the area of data privacy and cybersecurity law, demonstrating his knowledge of the myriad of laws and regulations surrounding information privacy that impact our clients.
Webb’s practice focuses on helping clients with the legal issues that arise from the implementation, use and abuse of technology, with a specific focus on cybersecurity and data privacy matters. His work includes reviewing technology contracts, reviewing and consulting on information security policies and procedures, helping clients prevent and remediate data breaches, cybersecurity due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, consulting with clients on compliance with national and international privacy laws, and advising clients on regulatory matters concerning cybersecurity and data privacy.
