Meet Evann

Evann is an associate in the Milwaukee office and a member of the Corporate practice. Evann’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, commercial contracting and general corporate matters.  Evann regularly advises clients on stock purchases, asset purchases and mergers, representing businesses in a variety of industries.  In addition to her mergers and acquisition practice, Evann provides guidance regarding other corporate law matters, including complex commercial contracts, succession planning, corporate governance, and employment and consulting arrangements.

Evann received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College. She earned her law degree summa cum laude from Marquette University, where she served as the Business Editor of the Marquette Law Review and a leader for the Academic Success Program. Evann received nine CALI Awards for the highest score, including awards in Business Associations and the Workshop in Contract Drafting. Evann won the Golden Quill Award for the outstanding student-written article published in the Marquette Law Review with her article “A New Must of the Public Trust: Modifying Wisconsin’s Public Trust Doctrine to Accommodate Modern Development While Still Serving the Doctrine’s Essential Goals” (99 Marq. L. Rev. 447 (2016)).

Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Evann was a law clerk for The Marcus Corporation and a research assistant to Associate Dean and Professor of Law Matthew Parlow at Marquette University.
