After more than 50 years, the U.S. Department of Labor has updated the so-called "white collar" exemptions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the law mandating the payment of minimum wages and overtime to employees. The new regulations make significant changes regarding which employees are eligible for overtime, and employers must come into compliance by August 23, 2004. Please join John Kalter and Brenda Kasper, two members of Godfrey & Kahn's labor and employment team, as they explain the new rules and share how employers can benefit from these changes. PLEASE NOTE: If implementation of the regulations is delayed, John and Brenda will present a modified program. 7:15 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. Breakfast and Networking 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Program The seminars are limited to 12 attendees.
