Mike Wittenwyler will speak at the State Bar of Wisconsin's full-day, 7.5-credit Continuing Legal Education seminar on Lawyers, Lobbyists and Legislators in Madison. Co-produced by the State Bar's Government Relations Team, the seminar will teach participants how lawyers can play an active role in crafting and shaping administrative rules and how to effectively use legislative resources to research the legislative history and intent of a statute. The seminar will also examine the unique ethical challenges that face a lawyer who runs for office as well as the logistics of initiating a campaign for office, including filing requirements and the basics of campaign finance regulation.
