Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is pleased to announce that Brian G. Gilpin, head of Godfrey & Kahn’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, has been selected as a member of the NameProtect Executive Business Advisory Board. The newly established board brings an elite group of trademark industry leaders together to discuss topics of importance within the trademark and brand space, identifying new industry trends, openly sharing ideas and developing strategies for managing the evolving challenges and opportunities facing intellectual property professionals in today’s ever-expanding digital economy.
“In establishing the board, our goal was to bring a small group of industry leaders together in a ‘think tank’-like setting,” stated Kevin Rohde, President of NameProtect. “We are providing the forum for discussion, but our participants are providing the expertise that will ultimately drive the board. NameProtect has always been an innovator in the trademark and brand industry and we are thrilled that such an innovative group of thought leaders has agreed to join us in this exciting endeavor.”
Gilpin provides counsel to clients on trademark, patent, copyright, and other intellectual property and technology issues including licensing and litigation. He received his engineering degree from Purdue University and graduated cum laude from The John Marshall Law School.
