Indian Nations Law Update - September 2012

Wisconsin State Bar Indian Law Conference September 21, 2012
The Wisconsin State Bar's Indian Law Section CLE will host its annual legal conference at Legendary Waters Hotel Casino, Red Cliff Reservation, Wisconsin, on September 21, 2012. Subjects will include:

  • Renewable Energy Projects in Wisconsin Indian Country
  • 2011-2012 Indian Case Law & Legislative Update
  • Ethical Considerations for Tribal In-House Counsel
  • Beaulieu v. Minnesota: What it Means for Wisconsin, Minnesota, & PL 280
  • Mining/Environmental Law

Godfrey & Kahn to Hold Annual Corporate Counsel Seminar November 1, 2012
Godfrey & Kahn will hold its 2012 Corporate Counsel Symposium from 1:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Pier Wisconsin at Discovery World (Pilot Room), 500 N Harbor Drive, Milwaukee, WI. This annual symposium addresses current issues and challenges facing in-house attorneys.
