Two Godfrey & Kahn Attorneys Named State Editors of HouseLaw®April 26, 2006
The law firm of Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is pleased to announce that two attorneys in the firm’s Milwaukee office have been named Wisconsin State Editors of HouseLaw®, a legal reporting service designed for mortgage lenders, brokers and others involved with housing finance:
- James A. Sheriff, leader of the firm’s Financial Institutions Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Sheriff and Godfrey & Kahn currently act as General Counsel to the Community Bankers of Wisconsin, a trade group of independent community banks. In addition, he is a member of the American Bar Association’s Banking Law Committee and Consumer Financial Services Committee, as well as the Lawyer’s Council of The Financial Services Roundtable, a Washington, D.C. based trade group representing the nation’s largest financial services companies.
- Thomas R. Homberg, member of the firm’s Financial Institutions Practice Group. Homberg has extensive experience in representing banks, bank holding companies, trust companies and other financial service providers on a wide range of regulatory and transactional matters. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and the Consumer Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
