Ben Clarke is an associate in the Corporate Law Practice Group in the Milwaukee office, where he advises clients on transactional matters, including stock purchases, asset sales, mergers, recapitalizations, private placements, strategic commercial relationships and other financing matters across manufacturing, distribution, technology and other industries.
In addition to his mergers and acquisitions practice, Ben also assists a variety of clients with general governance and corporate matters and in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, including agreements for the manufacture, sale and purchase of products and services, equipment leases, distribution and supply contracts, confidentiality agreements, warranty programs, terms and conditions of sale, employment agreements and other agreements necessary for the ongoing operation of his clients.
During law school, Ben served as an articles editor for the Wisconsin Law Review, competed on the Ruby Vale Corporate Law Moot Court team and was a student attorney in the University of Wisconsin Law School Consumer Law Clinic.
Prior to law school, Ben worked as a business analyst at Target’s corporate headquarters and served in the U.S. Peace Corps developing community microfinance banks.
Outside of the office, Ben volunteers with the Marquette Law School Volunteer Legal Clinic, teaches financial literacy classes to high school students and serves as a Big for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Milwaukee.
