Julie D’Angelo is a member of the firm’s Investment Management Practice Group. Julie focuses on securities and investment management law, advising investment advisers and other financial services companies on SEC and state law compliance and reporting, corporate governance, new product formation and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Julie served as senior counsel for a multinational financial institution supporting the company’s wealth management business. In that capacity, she advised the company’s institutional and retail investment management lines of business on a wide range of legal issues, including federal and state securities laws compliance, private fund formation and operation, and fiduciary obligations. She also advised the company’s non-U.S. investment adviser affiliates on compliance with U.S. federal and state securities laws.
Julie also has experience working with investment company boards of directors and with public and private companies on securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance matters.
