Susan Hoaglund is a member of the Investment Management Practice Group. Susan provides advice to investment advisers, investment companies, broker-dealers and banks regarding legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Susan practiced securities and banking law at Firstar Corporation (now known as U.S. Bancorp), where her responsibilities included providing legal support for a registered investment adviser, a registered broker-dealer, a proprietary mutual fund group and a capital markets group.
Susan began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert W. Warren, Chief Judge of the Eastern District of Wisconsin, following her graduation from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Susan is a regular contributor to Godfrey & Kahn’s Investment Management Legal & Regulatory Update.

Advising fund boards of directors regarding governance and oversight matters.
Representation of SEC and state registered investment advisers.
