AV Forum - December 2020
December 1, 2020|12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Born out of the Wisconsin Governor’s Steering Committee on Autonomous and Connected Vehicle Testing and Deployment, the AV Forum is a non-partisan collective of Wisconsin businesses committed to advancing a healthy, statewide conversation about emerging automated vehicle technologies and their impact on Wisconsin roadway safety, infrastructure, economy, and environment.
Connected and automated vehicles promise tremendous societal benefits, but getting there has its challenges. The discussion will focus on the technical, societal, legal and regulatory ramifications of AVs, paying particular attention to the most substantial roadblocks to widespread adoption of CAVs.
The Driving Question of the Discussion: What are the most significant technical, societal, legal and regulatory roadblocks to the development, deployment, and mass adoption of CAVs, and how is your organization helping to overcome these roadblocks?
