Developing a PFAS Response Playbook

June 23, 2020 12 - 2 p.m.

Program Overview

Attorneys, environmental professionals, government officials, and company representatives responsible for evaluating and responding to the emergence of PFAS contamination in soil or water resources.

Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are in the news across the United States and are a growing topic of discussion amongst environmental professionals and at all levels of regulatory agencies. This carbon-fluorine bond is one of the strongest in nature. It is responsible for most of the unique and useful characteristics of these chemicals. However, it also causes their environmental persistence, bioaccumulation, and resistance to degradation. Those characteristics result in increased toxicity over time.

This Zoominar is an opportunity for an update on PFAS response activity and to obtain the information you need to develop tools for planning and implementing your response strategy. We hope you will join us for a very interesting and informative discussion.
