November 3, 2016 7:30 - 9 a.m.
Godfrey & Kahn's Milwaukee Office

Mobile devices such as laptops, tablets and smartphones have quickly become essential tools for health care providers. The problem? Reconciling an increasingly connected workplace with a provider’s obligations under the HIPAA privacy and security rules, particularly as bring-your-own device policies become more commonplace. This roundtable will highlight the risks involved with mobile devices in the health care workplace and offer practical tips and tricks for designing mobile device policies with HIPAA compliance in mind.

The program will be led by Scott LeBlanc, member of Godfrey & Kahn’s Labor & Employment Practice Group and Health Care Practice Group and Molly Berkery, member of Godfrey & Kahn’s Health Care Practice Group.
