Reasonable Accommodations in the Healthcare Workplace

This session will explore the obligations employers have to accommodate a request for an intermittent leave of absence under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Wisconsin Fair Employment Act.  Key cases outlining employer responsibilities will be reviewed and best practices for an intermittent leave of absence will be discussed.  Cases occurring within the healthcare setting will be of particular emphasis.

  • Appreciate the complexities of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act as they pertain to Intermittent Leave Accommodations.
