Christine McLaughlin named to United Way's National Women's Leadership Council

Christine McLaughlinGodfrey & Kahn is proud to announce Shareholder Christine Liu McLaughlin has been named to the United Way’s National Women’s Leadership Council (NWLC).

The NWLC includes 60,000 women from all across the world who come together to promote positive change in the communities in which they live and work, notably in the areas of education, income and health. The WLC supports the United Way’s mission with a hands-on approach focused on leadership, resource development and advocacy. Christine is a shareholder and chair of the Labor & Employment Law Practice Group in Godfrey & Kahn's Milwaukee office. She advises her clients on general employee hiring, discipline and termination issues; family and medical leave issues; federal and state disability discrimination issues; federal and state civil rights and fair employment issues; sexual and other unlawful harassment issues; workplace violence issues; and contingent workforce issues. McLaughlin routinely defends discrimination claims that have been filed with the State of Wisconsin Equal Rights Division and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She also has extensive experience in evaluating and drafting federal and Wisconsin state affirmative action plans, as well as advising on compliance reviews.
