MILWAUKEE (August 3, 2020) Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is proud to announce the addition of Allison V. Andrew and Emily K. Fons to its Corporate/ M&A team.

Andrew’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and general corporate advising. She also has extensive experience representing issuers and underwriters in a variety of capital markets transactions, including public and private offerings of equity and debt.

Prior to Godfrey & Kahn, Andrew practiced in Chicago at Mayer Brown LLP in its Corporate & Securities practice group.

Fons is experienced with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters and antitrust law. She represents buyers and sellers in stock and asset acquisition and divestiture transactions and advises clients on general corporate matters including business planning, risk management, and reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. She works with both public and privately held companies in a variety of industries.

Fons is committed to helping others in her pro bono efforts, such as partnering with the Sojourner Family Peace Center where she represented individuals seeking restraining orders against domestic abusers.  Before joining Godfrey & Kahn, Fons practiced at Quarles and Brady in Milwaukee.
