MADISON, WIS. (Feb. 25, 2020) - Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has appointed Jennifer A. Hannon as its Madison office managing partner.
Hannon began her career with Godfrey & Kahn in 2000. Today, her law practice focuses on estate planning, business succession and tax exempt matters. As office managing partner, she continues serving as a trusted legal advisor to many prominent Wisconsin families and their businesses, as well as numerous non-profit organizations.
“It has been a privilege to work with the firm’s talented group of attorneys and staff for the last 20 years,” said Hannon. “I am honored to serve as the Madison office’s managing partner going forward, and I am excited for the opportunity to expand Godfrey & Kahn’s work for Wisconsin’s most well-known businesses and families.”
In 2018, Hannon was named a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Outside of the office, Hannon has been actively involved in the community by serving as a director for various organizations, including the United Way Foundation, the Madison Public Library Foundation, the Foundation for Madison’s Public Schools and the University of Wisconsin’s Center for Community and Non-Profit Studies. Additionally, Hannon is an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School where she teaches estate planning law. Prior to her career in law, Hannon served in the U.S. Army as a combat medic.
