MILWAUKEE (Feb. 22, 2022) – Godfrey & Kahn is pleased to announce the addition of Mark C. Skolos to the firm’s Corporate Practice Group.

Skolos joins Godfrey & Kahn from a formerly publicly traded mining company where he served as general counsel, secretary, chief compliance officer and head of the environmental team. Prior to that role, he was engaged in private practice where he represented clients in complex commercial transactions and land use matters.

Skolos resides in Eau Claire with his family and works from Godfrey & Kahn’s Milwaukee office. His areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, securities, real estate transactions, contracts, corporate governance, mining and environmental matters. As a member of the firm, he will have access to the full complement of Godfrey & Kahn resources, including the firm’s more than 170 Wisconsin-based attorneys.
