This award recognizes women in wealth management across southeastern Wisconsin who play a significant role within their organizations, demonstrate measurable impact for their clients, and have significant involvement in the community.
Joan, a Shareholder in our Estate Planning practice, is highly regarded by her colleagues and clients for her extensive knowledge, attention to detail, and unwavering dedication in guiding clients through their estate planning needs. Joan provides guidance on fiduciary income taxation, estate and gift taxation, probate and trust administration, business succession planning and the drafting of wills and trusts. She also assists clients with estate planning techniques that leverage tax exemptions and address closely held business succession and philanthropic goals. Additionally, Joan serves as trustee for over 150 trusts, managing their distribution and income tax planning.
In the community, she currently serves as a member of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation's Development and Philanthropic Services Committee and is Chair of Children's Wisconsin's Planned Giving Council.
