When Labor & Employment attorney, Rebeca Lopez was in law school at Marquette University, she wrote a piece for the Marquette Law Review entitled “Codifying The Flores Settlement Agreement: Seeking To Protect Immigrant Children In U.S. Custody.” This article shares information about the Flores Settlement, a settlement from Reno v. Flores, which restricts the amount of time immigrant children can be detained and governs the conditions under which those children can be detained.
