Katie Stadler joins American College of Bankruptcy’s 34th class of FellowsJanuary 24, 2023
January 24, 2023 (Madison, WI) – Godfrey & Kahn is pleased to announce that Katherine (Katie) Stadler will be inducted as a Fellow in the 34th Class of the College at its Annual Meeting, March 2023, in Washington, D.C. The 39 new Fellows are being honored and recognized for their professional excellence and exceptional contributions to the bankruptcy and insolvency practice.
Katie's practice emphasizes bankruptcy and insolvency matters, bankruptcy fee examination, and-related litigation and appellate work. Katie has represented fee examiners or fee committees in the General Motors Lehman Brothers Holdings, and Energy Future Holdings bankruptcies, among others. She is the Practice Group Leader for the Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring practice group and has also been named a Woman in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal.
Nominees are extended an invitation to join based on a sustained record of achievement. Candidates are selected by the College’s Board of Regents from recommendations of Circuit Admissions Councils in each federal judicial circuit and Nominating Committees for Judicial and International Fellows.
