Godfrey & Kahn Named to Strongest Firms for Banking Work listing By BTI Consulting in its 2016 Power Rankings Report

June 30, 2016

MILWAUKEE (June 30, 2016) - Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is pleased to announce that BTI Consulting has named the firm to its Strongest Firms for Banking Work listing in the BTI Power Rankings 2016 report. Godfrey & Kahn’s Banking & Financial Institutions Practice Group was one of only 11 firms listed nationally and the only Wisconsin law firm listed.

The BTI Power Rankings 2016 report is compiled based on interviews with corporate counsels at several organizations. The listing was based on two main factors: being a “go-to” firm for bank legal services and obtaining unsolicited recommendations from existing clients.

Godfrey & Kahn’s Banking and Financial Institutions Practice Group has practical hands-on experience and knowledge about the financial services industry, uniquely positioning its attorneys to offer legal advice to banks, trade groups and other industry-related companies on regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, financings, new products and services, executive compensation and strategic planning.

With more than 160 lawyers, Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is one of Wisconsin's leading business law firms. Founded in 1957, Godfrey & Kahn maintains offices in Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton, Green Bay and Waukesha, Wis.; and Washington, DC.
