Self-driving cars. Drones. The Internet of things. Change is happening and more is coming - to society and, undoubtedly, to the insurance industry.

The pace of change is not linear; it is exponential. Insurers that fail to adapt will be left behind. 

The rapidly evolving insurance environment was the central theme of last week's OnRamp Insurance Conference in Chicago. The conference brought together insurers and start-ups to talk about where the industry is headed and how the well-established players can work with the brand-new ones to keep at least one step ahead of the tidal wave of innovation.

Godfrey & Kahn had the pleasure of attending and sponsoring the conference. We were pleased to see many of our friends and clients among the nearly 800 attendees.
