Meet Meg

Meg Sill is an attorney in the Tax and Employee Benefits Practice Group. She advises clients on a range of employee compensation and benefit matters, with a focus on both executive compensation and employee benefit plan compliance.

Meg counsels public and private employers on the design, implementation, and administration of executive compensation arrangements, including equity and incentive compensation plans, nonqualified deferred compensation, and severance arrangements. She also advises on the application of Internal Revenue Code Sections 409A and 280G, and works with clients to evaluate the impact of compensation arrangements in mergers and acquisitions.

In the employee benefits space, Meg helps employers, plan fiduciaries, and administrators navigate compliance with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other applicable laws. She supports clients with retirement and welfare benefit plans, addressing compliance and correction issues, and developing strategies to meet the needs of diverse workforces, including multinational and nonprofit organizations.

While in law school, Meg was a member of the Iowa Law Review. An accomplished writer, she received multiple student awards for her legal writing.
