Alex Stein is an associate in the Corporate and Real Estate Practice Groups. Alex’s practice in the corporate area focuses on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracting and general corporate matters. Alex regularly advises clients on stock purchases, asset purchases and mergers, representing businesses in a variety of industries. In addition, Alex provides guidance regarding other corporate law matters, including complex commercial contracts, corporate governance, employment and consulting arrangements, and other business related matters.
Alex’s real estate practice emphasizes the development, purchase, sale and leasing of office, retail and industrial properties. Alex has experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases, offers to purchase and purchase and sale agreements.
While in law school, Alex served as Comment Editor for the Marquette Law Review and worked as an Academic Success Program Leader, helping first-year students with Contracts and Constitutional Law. He also worked as a research assistant to Associate Dean Matthew Parlow and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Shirley S. Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
