Will Obama’s complex environmental legacy be remembered by The Clean Power Plan?

In his 2008 speech to accept the presidential election, Barack Obama identified addressing “a planet in peril” as one of his top priorities. From the Stimulus Fund to the Keystone Pipeline, the Obama Administration has strived to balance environmental ideals with economic realities, all while facing a usually hostile legislature. With one year remaining in the Obama presidency, this symposium segment will provide an assessment of the President’s environmental record and introductory detail on his potential legacy regulation to address climate change, the Clean Power Plan.
