Godfrey & Kahn Elects Two New Shareholders

MILWAUKEE (Jan. 3, 2011)--Godfrey & Kahn is pleased to announce the election of Brett D. Koeller and Patrick S. Murphy as the firm's newest shareholders, effective immediately.

Koeller is a member of the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Milwaukee office and has been with Godfrey & Kahn since 2002. His practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity financings and general corporate law concerns. Koeller graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Murphy is a member of the Banking and Financial Institutions Practice Group in the firm's Milwaukee office and has been with Godfrey & Kahn since 2003. He concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, bank and bank holding company formations, general securities, financing transactions and regulatory and compliance matters. Murphy graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University Law School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University.
