Meet Dan

Dan Flaherty is an experienced trial lawyer and member of the Litigation practice. His practice focuses on complex business litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Dan was a Federal Prosecutor in the United States Department of Justice, United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Wisconsin where he specialized in financial institution fraud investigations and prosecutions. While a Federal Prosecutor, Dan served as the lead prosecutor on many significant white-collar fraud prosecutions including bank fraud, wire fraud and tax prosecutions. Prior to serving in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of a national law firm.

Dan’s civil and criminal litigation experience includes antitrust, complex corporate disputes, environmental, financial institutions, health care, intellectual property, internal corporate (including Sarbanes-Oxley) investigations, special committee representations, compliance counseling, securities and tax litigation. Dan’s practice includes trial work in state and federal courts, arbitration and mediation. Dan has been lead trial counsel in more than fifty jury trials in courts throughout the United States.
