Probate and trust administration, estate and gift planning and taxation are the mainstay of Kristi E. Leswing’s legal practice, with her taxation work encompassing fiduciary income as well as gift and estate taxes. She works regularly with business owners, executives, physicians and other professionals, providing tax counsel, preparing fiduciary income and transfer tax returns, and developing estate plans, including lifetime-giving and related transfer programs. She also provides counsel in connection with marital property arrangements.
Kristi has been a frequent speaker to professional and business groups on the subjects of marital property, probate administration, business succession planning and charitable giving. Among other organizations, she has addressed the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kristi received her undergraduate degree in international relations and Spanish from Colgate University and graduated
cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association. She served as a Director of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and is currently a member of the Mid-Winter Estate Planning Clinic.
