Jay Creagh – Startup and Venture Capital (Milwaukee, Wisc.)
Jay is the co-chair of the firm’s Startup and Venture Capital Practice Group and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Private Equity Practice Groups. Jay advises clients on complex mergers and acquisitions across multiple industries, including manufacturing, distribution, technology, energy, healthcare and financial services.
Kristen Irgens – Investment Management (Milwaukee, Wisc.)
Kristen practices securities and corporate law with particular emphasis on investment company and investment adviser regulation and SEC compliance and reporting. She works on a wide range of legal issues, including compliance matters, fund registration, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and general business matters. She is also a regular contributor to Godfrey & Kahn’s Investment Management Legal & Regulatory Update.
David Konkel – Litigation (Milwaukee, Wisc.)
David represents a broad range of clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes including: insurance trade practices, insurance coverage and bad faith defense, theft of proprietary information, fraudulent transfers, real estate litigation, class action defense, securities fraud, contract actions, and business torts. David has litigated in state and federal court in Wisconsin, as well as in other states across the country.
Sarah McNally – Tax (Milwaukee, Wisc.)
Sarah focuses her practice on the tax and federal and international aspects of complex business transactions such as private equity financings, hedge funds and other joint investment pools, acquisitions, tax-free reorganizations of corporations, like-kind exchanges, and acquisitive partnership transactions. Sarah has significant experience in a variety of tax issues including tax-free in-kind contributions, operational matters related to maintaining status as a regulated investment company, tax-free reorganizations, and liquidations.
Danny Tang – Real Estate (Milwaukee, Wisc.)
Danny has significant experience advising clients through acquisitions and dispositions of various types of commercial property across the United States, including, without limitation, real property used for manufacturing and office purposes, commercial leasing transactions, commercial real estate financing transactions, and land use and easement issues. Danny’s expertise includes drafting and negotiating complex agreements, such as purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, and loan documents.
Zach Willenbrink – Litigation and Data Privacy & Cybersecurity (Milwaukee, Wisc.)
Zach helps clients navigate data privacy, intellectual property, non-competition, trade secret, trade practices, and other complex commercial and business disputes, including appeals. He holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/US (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He is also Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)².
