Meet Danny
Danny is a shareholder and the chair of the Real Estate & Construction practice. Danny is well-versed in a number of various real estate sub-specialties and has significant experience advising clients through complex real estate projects, which customarily include one or more of the following components: (i) acquisitions and dispositions of various types of commercial property across the United States, including, without limitation, real property used for manufacturing and office purposes; (ii) joint venture arrangements; (iii) commercial leasing; (iv) commercial real estate financing; and (v) development incentives, such as tax incremental financing. Danny’s expertise includes drafting and negotiating complex agreements in connection with such projects, such as purchase and sale agreements, joint venture operating agreements, development agreements, commercial leases, easements, and a wide range of loan documents.
Additionally, Danny works closely with Godfrey & Kahn’s Environmental practice in connection with the acquisition and disposition of environmentally-impacted real property and its Energy practice in connection with the development and construction of energy projects.
Danny is active both within Godfrey & Kahn and in his community. Danny serves as co-chair of the Diversity Leadership Forum and is a member of the Culture & Belonging Committee. Danny previously spent a number of years serving on the firm’s Summer Associate and Recruiting Committees. Currently, Danny is a member of the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Historical Foundation, which supports the Wisconsin Historical Society. Prior to his current board service, Danny spent 6 years on the Board of Directors for the Ice Age Trail Alliance, Inc.
