APPLETON/GREEN BAY (April 9, 2025) – Godfrey & Kahn is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has appointed Laura Meronk as its Appleton and Green Bay office managing partner.

Laura began her career with Godfrey & Kahn in 2006. Today, her law practice focuses on buy and sell-side acquisitions, debt and equity financings, general business law issues, and commercial real estate matters.

As office managing partner, Laura will build upon the collaboration that defines our firm and continue the legacy of strong leadership established by her predecessor John Haase, while bringing her unique perspective and vision to the role. She will continue serving as a trusted and strategic legal advisor to her clients. Laura works to serve clients by first understanding their business needs and personal and family goals, and then by offering strategic legal advice and smart, practical solutions. 

Outside of the office, Laura has been actively involved in the community and currently serves on the Boards of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic.
