 2015 Tribal Clean Energy Project Awards

The U.S. Department of Energy has selected 11 tribal communities to receive nearly $6 million in funding to implement clean energy and energy efficiency retrofit projects for tribal buildings and deploy clean energy systems on a community scale on Indian lands.

Godfrey & Kahn’s 25th Annual Labor and Employment Conference

Godfrey & Kahn’s Labor, Employment & Immigration Law Practice Group will present its annual Labor & Employment Law conference in May at three locations throughout the state of Wisconsin. The seminar will include a panel discussion on common mistakes made by employers when conducting workplace investigations and the consequences of those mistakes. Other sessions include: Lessons from the National Labor Relations Board: A guide for union and non-union employers and ADA compliance strategies for baby boomers, Generation X and millennials. All conferences run from 8:00 a.m. to noon, at the following locations:

• Green Bay – Thursday, May 21 (Lambeau Field Atrium)

• Milwaukee – Wednesday, May 27 (Milwaukee Marriott Downtown)

• Madison – Thursday, May 28 (Monona Terrace)

The seminar, which is offered free of charge, is designed to serve the needs of executives, in-house counsel, human resource professionals and front-line supervisors. Pending approval by the Wisconsin Board of Bar Examiners, this seminar may be eligible for CLE credits.
