MILWAUKEE (June 30, 2022) – Godfrey & Kahn is pleased to announce that Shareholder Todd Smith has been appointed to a three-year term on the Professional Ethics Committee of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

The Professional Ethics Committee formulates and recommends standards and methods for the effective enforcement of high standards of ethics and conduct in the practice of law. The Committee also issues formal opinions to guide the ethical conduct of Wisconsin lawyers. The Committee is comprised of 12 attorneys appointed by the President of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

In addition to his practice serving clients, Todd Smith is the general counsel of Godfrey & Kahn and is the Chair of the firm’s Ethics & Loss Committee.
