Zach Willenbrink earns prestigious Certified Information Privacy Professional credential
June 7, 2020MILWAUKEE (July 7, 2020) ─ Godfrey & Kahn is pleased to announce that Zach Willenbrink has become a Certified Information Privacy Professional/US (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Willenbrink is a member of the firm’s Litigation, Technology and Digital Business, and Data Privacy and Cybersecurity practice groups. Achieving the CIPP/US certification further positions Willenbrink as a leader in the area of data privacy and cybersecurity law. This certification demonstrates his knowledge of U.S. privacy laws and regulations, as well as his understanding of the legal requirements for the responsible transfer of sensitive personal data to and from the U.S., the EU and other jurisdictions.
Willenbrink’s legal practice focuses on representing clients in many types of litigation, primarily those involving complex commercial, intellectual property, insurance trade practices, international law, and media and entertainment issues, as well as in appeals.
