

Meet Evann
Evann is a shareholder in the Milwaukee office and a member of the firm’s Corporate practice. She advises privately held businesses, business owners and private equity investors on mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions and a broad range of corporate matters.
Evann’s practice focuses on middle-market M&A transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions, mergers, business sales, recapitalizations and private equity investments. She represents buyers, sellers, investors and portfolio companies throughout the transaction lifecycle, from structuring and due diligence through negotiation and closing. She regularly advises strategic buyers, private equity-backed companies, and business owners on acquisitions, divestitures and ownership transitions. Evann also works closely with founder-owned and family-owned businesses navigating succession planning and other significant business events.
In addition to her transactional practice, Evann serves as outside counsel to businesses across a variety of industries. She advises clients on complex commercial contracts, corporate governance, employment and consulting arrangements and other strategic business matters. Clients value her practical, business-minded approach and her ability to identify and prioritize key legal issues while keeping transactions moving efficiently and business objectives at the forefront.
Evann earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College and her law degree, summa cum laude, from Marquette University Law School. Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, she was a law clerk for The Marcus Corporation.
