Meet Parker
Parker, an administrative and regulatory attorney, works with clients to navigate and comply with campaign finance, ethics and lobbying laws. He also counsels clients on administrative rulemaking and advises bidders seeking government contracts during the procurement process. He provides associations and businesses with research and analysis related to a variety of public policy issues and represents client in administrative and regulatory matters before state agencies, boards and commissions.
Additionally, Parker works with clients navigating educational institutions’ disciplinary proceedings. Having worked with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and the University of Wisconsin’s Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards (OSCCS), Parker assists clients in securing equitable results from these administrative proceedings that are often both intimidating and difficult to navigate.
Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Parker was an attorney for the Wisconsin Legislative Council. While in this role, he advised on legislation related to alcohol beverages, tax, housing and economic development. He also advised on bills, amendments and committee procedures, counseled legislative offices on proposed legislation and public inquiries, and reviewed administrative rule proposals for statutory authority.
